Blondie Lockes tries to uncover if she's really a Royal when the students are assigned to research their family trees.
In Jack Nimble's class he assigns a project that involves tracing one's own family tree and explains that it must be actual facts. Blondie can't help but feel uneasy about this and nervously jokes in class about who would stretch the truth about their family tree and everyone looks at her strangely.
The next morning, Cupid reminds Blondie that it is time to turn in their project but finds her roommate in bed with tissues scattered on it. Blondie pretends to be sick in order avoid turning in her project to which Cupid points out that she was fine ten minutes ago. Blondie then snaps at Cupid but realizes that she doesn't sound sick anymore and tries to pretend again. Cupid is able to see through this and sits down on Blondie's bedside and asks if she's trying to bail out on doing her project. Blondie confesses that it is true and that her lineage is actually distantly royal, she thinks that her path that she has chosen to follow could possibly make her a Rebel. However, Cupid comforts her in that Royals also make decisions - to follow tradition and to honor their stories and that if she believes that she is a Royal then there is no harm in saying it out loud.
It was then time for the students to present their projects. Cedar discovered that her Uncle Elmer originated from a certain branch, and Dexter and Daring explain that they are not actually related to all the other Charmings out there. And finally, it was Blondie's turn, though she was still nervous Cupid comforts her with a thumbs up and Blondie begins her presentation. She explains that after her mother was captured by the bears, she had sworn to be good and was sent to live in a magical cul de sac which is where a majority of the Lockes originated from. Her mother was then declared queen of the community just like her relatives before her. At the end of the presentation the whole class applauds her and Apple praises her.
