Humpty Dumpty is a nursery rhyme from James William Elliot's National Nursery Rhymes and Nursery Songs. The titular character is often portrayed as an anthropomorphic egg but this is not always the case.

All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
