King Philip is the father of Meeshell Mermaid. He and his wife, the Little Mermaid, are the rulers of the Sea Kingdom.

Backstory[]
Philip was a human prince who attended Ever After High. While there, Baba Yaga was his advisor. At some point, he met his wife when she saved him from drowning, and fell in love. When he agreed to live in the ocean with her, the Sea Witch's spell was broken, restoring her voice.
Personality[]
King Philip is a kind father, who sometimes tells Meeshell bedtime stories of his time spent on land. Several of his stories are about how he used to slay dragons and climb towers at Ever After High. He is protective of his family, and is wary of the Sea Witch.
Appearance[]
Philip has blue eyes, just like his daughter's. He has a trident that he sometimes carries around. Not much else is known about his appearance or attire. It is assumed that, because he now lives underwater, he has been transformed into a merman.
Interests[]
During his days at Ever After High, Philip was the co-president of the student body. He was also the captain of the Track and Shield team. His love of running shows what a great sacrifice it was for him to leave his life on land behind, and live underwater.
